There was a problem with connecting the drone to our new laptop using the telemetry unit. The drone was properly connected to the transmitter and the telemetry unit was in. The problem was the drivers were not loaded due to Windows 10 being on the new computer. We google searched the solution and found an ArduPilot forum that showed how to fixed it. Now, when the drone is connected to the laptop through wiring, it is COM3. If it is connected through the telemetry unit, it is COM4.

Another thing we did today was prefetching images. Prefetching images is when you download the imaging for a certain area in mission planner so you can load it without an internet connection. To prefetch an image on mission planner, hold down ALT, click and drag on the screen the image you want to fetch. Right click on the image, click MAP TOOL, the click PREFETCH. A prompt should come up asking if you want the image at a certain zoom level, click OK. And there you go!
