We are the Duarte High School (DHS) Aviation and Space Club (ASC), founded in 2017. This aviation program was first envisioned as a five-high-school-credit course. We are a club that focuses on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). We utilize science, technology, engineering, and math in basic aeronautics in order to fly the drone we built from scratch. We incorporate art into our 3D designed landing gear. DHS ASC is comprised of passionate individuals, who are learning more about aviation each meeting and are developing the necessary skills needed for future avionics. We are thrilled to be invited to participate in the 2019 UAS4STEM National Aeromodeling Championships Competition!
